Week of November 20th

Bonjour !

Here is what we've done yesterday:

1) Greeting and sign-in

2) Ball throwing game

3) New sentence structure + vocab: Presente ta famille (Introduce your family)

Each student has brought a picture of their family. The students must use the structure “c'est” to introduce the persons in their families. “C'est mon pere, c'est ma mere, c'est mon frere, c'est ma soeur” (this is my father, this is my mother, this is my brother, this is my sister). The teacher asks the questions: “comment il/elle s'appelle ?” (what is his/her name?) and/or “quel age il/elle a ?” (how old is he/she?). The student answers the questions with the correct information.

4) New sentence structure: j'habite a … (I live in …)

The question I ask the students: “Tu habites ou ? A Newark ? A Fremont ?

(Where do you live? In Newark? In Fremont?).

The student will repeat the structure: “J'habite a Newark/J'habite a Fremont” (I live in Newark/I live in Fremont)
