Week of November 13th

Here is what we;ve done this week:

1) Greetings and parents sign-in

2) Review: the days of the week

Manipulation: Mets les jours de la semaine dans l'ordre (place the days of the week in the correct order)

Les jours de la semaine – (The days of the week) Fiche partage EFBA (advanced)

Jeu (game) : Le facteur n'est pas passé (the mailman did not come)
Lyrics: Le facteur n'est pas passé, il ne passera jamais. Lundi, mardi, mercredi, jeudi, vendredi, samedi, dimanche.

3) New sentence structure: je presente ma famille (I introduce my family)

Tu as des freres et soeurs ? (Do you have brothers and sisters?)

- Remue-Meninges : il y a combien de personnes dans ta famille ? (How many persons are in your family?)

*Show the picture of different families and describe them: il y a le papa, la maman, le fils et la fille (there is dad, mom, the son and the daughter) : il y a 4 personnes dans cette famille (there are 4 persons in that family). Loustics 1 p 34

*Use flashcards to reinforce the new vocabulary (qu'est-ce que tu as ? J'ai le papa/la maman/le fils/la fille, etc. / What do you have? I have the dad, the mom, the son, the daughter, etc.)

* Explain the vocab “freres” and “soeurs” showing in the class, students who have brothers and sisters. Then ask to the students: Et toi, tu as des freres et soeurs ? (And you, do you have brothers and sisters?)

Workshop 1 :

-Write a letter with a model with the following information: nom, age, freres et soeurs (name, age, siblings) Loustics 1 p 32/33 (debutants)

Workshop 2:
