Week of February 12th

Bonjour,

This week, we finished our unit about "J'aime/je n'aime pas" ( I like, I don't like). The students had to do a survey in the class asking around if the others liked all kinds of animals: "tu aimes les chiens ?" (do you like dogs), "tu aimes les chats ?" (do you like cats?). Then they had to do a crossword puzzle about animals, this allows them to review some of the vocab we saw in November.
Some of them also had a coloring to do. They had to read a text and color a dog following the instructions: "les oreilles du chien sont bleues" (the dog's ears are blue), "la tete du chien est rouge" (the dog's head is red), etc. It's a good practice to review the colors and the body parts.

At the end of the class, we did a little craft for Valentine's day. I made a little poem and they had to complete the poem with "J'aime...." and fill the blank with what they like.
