Week of October 15th

Bonjour,

This past week, we started the class by reviewing the numbers up to 12. We listened to a little song called "un, deux, trois".

Then we moved on and learned how to introduce ourselves. To ask someone their name, you will use this question: "Comment tu t'appelles ?" I asked this question, and the children had to answer: "Je m'appelle John" (with their regular names of course!).
We practiced that a few times and then, as we now know the numbers, the children can say how old they are. My question: "Quel age tu as ?". They had to reply with: "J'ai 10 ans". Then the students take a little time to practice that with their friends, asking around in the class. We also read a comic strip in the book p 5 reviewing all the notions.

Next, we will talk about the family.

I wanted to tell you that I made a mistake and that the books are only for lending during the year. We all had an email from our director specifying that. I am sorry about that. You may keep the book until June though and use it to practice with your student.
