Bonjour,

This week, we studied new things about sports and activities that the kids enjoy to do. I started by asking them "Quel sport tu fais ?" (What sport do you do?) and they had to answer: "Je fais du football, de la danse, du patin" (I do football, danse, skating). Then, the children had to ask around in a survey what kind of sport the others were doing: "Tu fais du cheval ? Tu fais de la danse ? Tu fais du golf ?" (Do you do horse back riding? Do you dance? Do you play golf?).

Then we observed a picture with a lot of people doing activities: music, sports, and other (singing, cooking). Each of the person had a number and I asked the children: "Quel numero fait de la natation ?" (Which number is doing swimming?), they had to say the number on the picture. Then, they searched for several activities in the picture starting with c, f, s, etc. (faire la cuisine/to cook, faire du judo/do judo, jouer du saxophone/play the saxophone, etc.).

At the end of the class, I gave a review worksheet to see if the children were remembering the vocab. I must say, it was pretty good. Kuddos to the children!
